I notice that the series' sexual content was heightened during Tomo’s arc. Gratuitous amount of nudity, sex scenes, and attempted rape were prevalent. From having an illusory Taiitsukun persuading Miaka to seduce Nakago, attempted rape by Nakago, Soi bedding with Tamahome, Tomo tickling Tamahome with his feathers, and more attempted rape on Miaka by both Suboshi and Tomo (even though he's gay). Also to note, almost all of those events were from Tomo's wicked plans. Damn, Tomo is one twisted bastard. It also didn’t help that in the manga, anime, and in the Suzaku Ibun game, Tomo mentioned about being aroused by something. Quotes like, "The boy's screams excited me far more than yours," and the caption above. Wow, what a horn dog. Just for the record, he stated that he personally DOES NOT like the idea of raping women, but in order to prevent Suzaku from being summoned, he believed he had to do the dirty deed in order to ensure success for Yui and Seiryuu, and ultimately doing it for his love of Nakago.

Aside from all the bad stuff that happened to the good guys, there are some mushy, lovey-dovey, sexually charged scenes where Tamahome gets naked with Miaka at a lake and saxophone music starts to play (in the anime). There’s also Amiboshi having a slight intimate moment with Miaka when raising her chi. And then Amiboshi and Suboshi have their little “kiss” moment.
