October 13...It's TOMO'S BIRTHDAY!!!  I was going to finish this blog a few months ago, but I've been distracted by other fandoms lol.  Sorry for the lack of updates, and I would also like to apologize if my recent posts seem "lazy."

Well anyways, here's a Tomo focused entry about the stage productions of FUSHIGI YUUGI, in which there are two versions.  One is Butai (theatrical drama) and the other is the Musical.  Butai has been around since 2010.  The Musical is relatively new, in which the release of the Seiryuu arc was as recent as of October 2018.  Tomo appears in both Butai and the Musical.  We'll focus on Butai in this entry.

There are three stage productions for Butai.  The first comprised the entire story of Fushigi Yuugi (2010).  The second, Fushigi Yuugi: Suzaku Hen (2011), focused on the first half of the story, and the third, Fushigi Yuugi: Seiryuu Hen (2012), the second half (both with a bigger stage).  Tomo was portrayed by Akihiro Tanabe.  Not much is known about the actor.  Personally, I think his face is the perfect match for Tomo, and I like his dramatic and energetic presence on stage.  It looks like he even interacts with the audience as well!  He definitely nails Tomo's wicked and mischievous personality!
