| Tomo in "Hang in There, Nakago!" |
"Hang in the There, Nakago!" is a little manga spoof by Yuu Watase herself. Here in this little story, Nakago as an amateur actor working on the Fushigi Yuugi TV series. He lacks experience and popularity compare to his senior costars Miaka, Tamahome, et al. Soi is there as emotional support for Nakago and she too is a professional. In the anime version, only a handful of characters made an appearance. In the manga, the whole cast is there (mostly as cameos). Amiboshi and Suboshi are youth idols, Hotohori and Nuriko are models, Miboshi is a child star, Chiriko is a little girl (!), and so on. Tomo is a pop idol working with Chinese Office (a parody of real life idol group Johnny's Office). Nakago is jealous and feels lowly when compared to his costars.
